About Us

Hi – I am Daphne from Daphne’s Corner, and if you’ve ever found joy in a blooming garden, a favorite album, or the simple thrill of discovering something new, then we already have something in common.

My life is a vibrant mix of soil and sound, stories and connection—a collage of passions that make each day feel like a celebration. I believe in keeping my garden perfect not just for beauty’s sake, but because every leaf, bloom, and moss-wrapped kokedama tells a story. My terrariums and fish tanks are tiny worlds I tend with care, and my pond is where stillness and sparkle meet.

But there’s more to me than petals and pond water.

I’m a movie lover and a binge-watcher—there’s nothing quite like curling up to a classic film or unraveling the layers of a gripping TV series. My shelves are lined with books, from timeless literature to page-turning thrillers, and my record player never rests for long. I adore my vinyls and CDs—they fill my space with the kind of magic only music can bring.

Sport is another heartbeat in my rhythm. I proudly cheer for the Matildas, lose myself in the grace of tennis, and never say no to a day out at any live sporting event. There’s energy in the crowd, spirit on the field, and inspiration in every game.

I spend time walking my dog—those quiet strolls where ideas bloom and fresh air clears the mind. I love going to the markets, browsing online for inspiration, and decorating my space for Easter, Christmas, Halloween, and any moment worth celebrating. Hosting friends, trying new foods, and cooking (especially when hot chips save the day!)—these are the rituals that add flavor to my life.

I also love going places. Exploring new spots and experiencing the outdoors recharge me. From spontaneous road trips to peaceful garden moments, everything feeds my curiosity and creativity.

So yes, Daphne’s Corner is a place for gardening tips and kokedama tutorials—but also music memories, movie musings, sporty spirit, and little lifestyle gems tucked in between. It’s for anyone who finds comfort in color, connection in creativity, and joy in the everyday.
